Before you start

A community invite link from the creator.

Follow these steps

Open the invite link

Click the community invite link you received. You'll see a preview of the community including its name, description, and member count.

You should see: You see the community preview page.

Sign in or create an account

If you are not signed in, the page shows options to Sign In or Create Account. Choose whichever applies. If you used a universal invite link, you'll see a note confirming you've been invited — just sign in or create an account to continue.

You should see: You are signed in and ready to complete the join process.

Complete your community profile

A profile dialog appears asking you to confirm or update your display name and profile photo. This is how other community members will see you. Upload a photo if you'd like, then confirm your profile.

You should see: Your community profile is set.

Join and explore

After confirming your profile, Allen adds you to the community. You'll see a success message and then be redirected into the community where you can browse posts, join conversations, and access classrooms.

You should see: You are inside the community and can start participating.

Common questions

Do I have to upload a profile photo?

No. You can skip the photo and just confirm your name. You can always update it later.

It says my join request is pending.

Some communities require admin approval. Your request has been submitted and you'll get access once the community admin approves it.

Where do I find communities I've joined?

Open your sidebar and click Communities under the Store section.
