How to join a classroom? | Allen Help Center

Before you start

A classroom invite link from the creator.

Follow these steps

Open the invite link

Click the classroom invite link you received. You'll see a preview showing the classroom title, description, number of members, and number of courses.

You should see: You see the classroom preview page with its details.

Sign in or create an account

If you are not signed in, the page shows two buttons: Sign In to Join and Create Account & Join. If you already have an Allen account, click Sign In. If not, click Create Account — you'll set up your account and then be brought back to join automatically. If you were invited by email, you can also enter your email to check for a pending invitation.

You should see: You are signed in and the join process begins.

Wait for automatic join

Once you are signed in, Allen automatically adds you to the classroom. You'll see a success confirmation, then you're redirected into the classroom where you can browse modules and start lessons.

You should see: You are inside the classroom and can see its courses and lessons.

Common questions

I already have an account but the link still asks me to sign in.

You may not be signed in on this browser. Click Sign In, enter your credentials, and you'll be redirected back to join the classroom.

It says the classroom was not found.

The invite link may be invalid or the classroom may have been removed. Ask the person who shared it for an updated link.

Where do I find classrooms I've joined?

Open your sidebar and click Classrooms under the Store section.
