How to create and manage classrooms?
Classrooms let you build online courses with modules and lessons. Share them via invite links, include them in communities, or attach them to products for paid access.
You can find this in the menu: Sidebar > Store > Classrooms
Before you start
- You are signed in to your Allen account.
Follow these steps
Open Classrooms
In your sidebar, click Classrooms under the Store section.
Create a classroom
Click the create button. Enter a title for your classroom and an optional description. Allen auto-generates a URL slug from the title — you can customize it. Click create.
Add modules
Inside your classroom, create modules to organize your content into sections (for example: 'Week 1 — Introduction', 'Week 2 — Fundamentals'). Modules are folders that contain lessons.
Add lessons to modules
Open a module and add lessons. Each lesson can include a video (YouTube, Vimeo, or Loom embed), text content, or both. You can drag and drop to reorder lessons and modules.
Manage members and track progress
Use the Members tab to see who has joined your classroom. You can see each member's progress — which lessons they've completed and how far along they are.
Configure settings and publish
Use the Settings tab to update the classroom title, description, visibility, and publish status. You can also add an optional intro video that plays before lessons start.
Share your classroom
Share the classroom invite link directly, include it as a classroom inside a community, or attach it to a product so members get access when they purchase.
